Will someone please explain to me why atikokan is on the list of Canadian time zones in Samsung. This is messing up my time settings has the phone selects that area has my setting. When selecting the time by automatic find time through the network it is all wrong and is one hour off. I think that someone his Messing the network.

If your Carrier is Bell, it's been reported that Bell was a week early switching from E.D.T. to E.S.T. so that would have given you the incorrect time, by an hour, if you are using Network Provided Time & Date on your device.

Bell apologised for the issue & I believe that it's since been corrected.

While Samsung has a number of things to apologize for, the Time & Date glitch isn't one of them.

There's nothing for Samsung's teams to investigate in this instance. 

Bell Mobility has already apologized & Tweeted about it.
