Hello, I think that the battery icon isn't showing the right percentage. I've been using the phone for the past hour, but it displays 90% since I unplugged it. I tried rebooting the phone, and it's now 89%. Also, the Samsung Members battery health check confirms that the battery health of my phone is bad. How can I "recalibrate" the battery percentage?

Well, you're not going to like this idea, probably..

But if you Factory Reset your device, it will clear the data in /data/system/batterystats

BUT, if the Phone Diagnostics are saying that the battery's health is bad, I think that I might look at getting the battery replaced, or a new phone?

Let the battery drain down to about 5%.

Open the Dialer and type:

*#0228#

Click on Quick Start and let the phone Reboot.

See if the battery percentage has changed.

You may need to repeat this a few times.

Charge the battery to 100%

Open the Dialer and type:

*#9900#

Click on Battery Stats Reset.

Reboot.

Okay, thank you. I'll try that tomorrow. Should I also let the battery go to 0% after the last? The last time I let my phone run out of battery was on February 23.

You can let the battery drain down to zero, but it is up to you.

For some reason, typing*#0228# isn't working... but my SoT didn't get affected so it shouldn't be a big problemSmartSelect_20230909_203628_Phone_1000011429_1694306188.jpg

True😅 I don't really like to factory reset my device... But I'll do it if I really have to. I'll probably get my battery replaced. Thank you for your advices!

For people trying this, you need to type in these codes manually. Or at least the last #. Calling it won't work.
