Galaxy A
Question:
1. Where did you have it repaired? Because if this isn't an Authorized Samsung store, they may have done something to the device which is why it is acting up.
It's possible the battery was replaced with a cheap knock off.
The motherboard is basically the brain or the CPU of a computer, and true enough uses most of the power of a smartphone, however, if the battery drains quickly like at full charge less than an hour drained, this is a battery issue.
Best to bring this to an Authorized service center.
If the device is out of warranty, the cost might be more expensive than 3rd party reprair stores, but at least you're assured it is done properly and it is still cheaper than buying a brand new smartphone.
Hope this helps 🙂

Galaxy AHello, Gian_Comia! Did you have the battery changed from the Authorized Samsung Service Center? If yes, you can visit them again to double-check if there are other issues with your phone, especially with the hardware.
Kindly contact your store of choice by referring to our store locator here: spr.ly/SamsungServiceCenter. We hope to see you in one of our stores soon. Keep us updated. Thank you!
