What's the difference between having battery replaced by Samsung repair service vs buying it from online stores and replacing it on your own?
Planning to replace my battery because diagnostics shows my battery life is weak but I heard having it fix by Samsung is a bit expensive so I'm looking another option of buying the battery online and doing the replacing myself. Is it okay?

Galaxy AGreat question, chrisaelus! While replacing the battery yourself may save some money upfront, it can be a bit tricky and may void your warranty. Samsung's service center ensures that the replacement is done by experts using genuine parts, which can give you peace of mind about your phone's performance and safety. If you're confident in handling the repair, just make sure the battery you buy online is from a reliable source to avoid potential issues!

For one, phones these days do not have a user replaceable battery. If you don't have adequate experience reconsider what you're planning. Also, Lithium Ion batts are hazardous when mishandled.
