Buying A New Phone

What are your thoughts on getting the new Galaxy A54 5g? Is it worth it to buy for an upgrade?

you didn't mention what your current phone is, I'm bought a54 5g and I'm contented. I don't use it for games though as I really dont play games on phone.

Hello! Samsung A54 user here. The last Samsung phone I owned was an A50s but I also have a Realme 8 5G.

Specs wise, I've compared the A53 and A54 and it isn't a significant upgrade.

I would recommend waiting for the A55 to see what it has to offer.

Alone, the Samsung A54 is a great unit though. I've had mine for five days now and super satisfied with it.

A53 5G to A54 5G is a decent upgrade. While there's not much that changed design-wise, it features an improved processor and an extra year of software updates (compared to A53 5G), for additional future-proofing.

However, performance between the two is pretty close. My personal opinion is that you should upgrade to our S or Z series from your A53. They've got functions and features that the A series doesn't have, giving you a brand new way to enjoy your Galaxy ♥

If coming from A53 and really want to pursue A54 then do a trade in. Otherwise A53 to A54 is not really a significant upgrade.
