I'm using Samsung A22 5g, and cant open my camera for more than a week now. How do I fix this, aside from hard factory reset?

Hi there,

Have you tried force stopping the Camera app and clearing out the storage?

Got it. One last thing you can do to confirm if there is an issue is by running the diagnostics tool on your Samsung Members app.

Once it confirms that it spots an issue, you can book an appointment at a Service Center near you directly from your Samsung Members app.

It seems like I have no choice but to send my phone to the service center. What a bummer. 🥲

This is too much hassle. I have some bills to pay, but now I can't pay them on time since some of my apps need facial recognition.

I did a factory reset also, but my camera is still not working. I had this phone for a year and a half. Never even drop this. This is a traumatizing experience. I guess it's time to switch to the other brand. I planned to get the S23 Ultra, but not anymore.
