Galaxy AHello johnrel,
Please find below on how to stop and/or minimize Google Play Services from draining your battery.
1) Limit what your apps can do, especially with location services and background operations.
2) Go to Settings > Background Restrictions. This setting lets you disable apps that are on in the background, even when you’re not using them. Go through and toggle apps you don’t need, or don’t want, to operate in the background.
3) Go to Settings > Apps > Permissions Manager > Location.
4) In Settings > Apps > Permissions Manager
Note : You generally can't disable or delete Google Play Services. Since, it does so much in the background for so many apps, removing it or disabling it would likely cause your phone to malfunction, and apps would either not work well or stop working entirely.

Thanks for your valuable suggestions.

Galaxy AHello Rolf26,
Samsung care and we are here to help.
There are several factors that contribute to your phone's battery fast draining. Please check and follow below steps to optimize your Samsung Galaxy device.
1) Environment - Battery consumption increases in areas with weak or overlapping signals or with increased screen brightness under strong sunlight or any other light source.
Galaxy offers Adaptive Brightness to optimize screen visibility based on the light intensity of the environment.
Below are settings tips to extend battery life.
1) Optimize your battery in 'Settings'
> Settings > Device Care > Optimize now
2) Maintain sleep status for rarely used apps.
Tap 3 dots on the upper right of Battery > Settings > Sleeping apps > Add to select apps you want in sleep status, then tap 'Add' once again.
3) Enable 'Power mode'
4) Clean up unused apps and features.
Settings > Device care > Battery > Battery usage > See more > Hide OS and system apps > Check battery usage and details of apps actually in use.
5) Change Display Settings.
