Why can't I connect my fitbit to samsung A5

Please try reset network settings. This will reset all network settings, including those for Wi-Fi, Mobile Data, Bluetooth.

Go to Settings>> General Management>>Reset>>Reset Network Settings>>Reset setting.

Also, please check with fitbit support to confirm if the device is compatible with the phone.

I don't think any Fitbit stuff works with Samsung.
