Galaxy A14 5G - enable 90 hertz

Hi,

Got my new Galaxy 14A 5G and i want to know how to enable 90 hertz.

I got into Developer options and enabled Show refresh rate. It shows me 60 hertz instead of 90.
Any way i can change this to 90 hertz?

Hi, in settings just search for refresh rate. Or go to settings > display and then on refresh rate.

Sadly that does not apply my phone.
Before writing here i've searched solutions, your solution was one of them.

Sadly nothing regarding "refresh rate", motion" or" smooth" can be found on my phone. (besides the on option in developer options that show's my current rate)

why dont u take ur phone to service centre... maybe they know what's the problems...

That is an option of course, but i'll leave it near the end just like factory reset.

Please try to check the phone in the safe mode https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062983/
.If the motion smoothness still not appearing, that mean you need to reset your phone to factory mode and remember backup your data before resetting.

Hi,

I've checked just to be sure, but i see no mention of Safe mode.

As for the factory reset, i'll keep that as a last resort. If after an update or two Samsung won't fix this, then i'll go fo it.

Just as an FYI, i got this phone from my local carrier. Don't know if it's relevant or not.

It suppose to be in setting>display>motion smoothness. But if your a14 is 4g, i think it only support 60hz. 5g version can support 90hz.
