HI! I live in a remote area and mobile reception is not available. I have a Galaxy A15 phone, but when I toggle on my Wi-Fi Calling feature, it does not appear in my status bar, so it is not working. I really need a way to receive phone calls in this area. Can you assist me in solving this problem? Thank you :)
Hi. I might not be able to provide a solution but let me share some things based on experience that you can check to somehow identify if the issue is with your phone, Internet Service Provider, or your Mobile Network.
1. I was able to use wifi calling before not until our ISP replaced our router. I thought it was my phone but I noticed that wifi calling works when connected to other wifi/personal hotspot.
2. I once tried another sim (DITO) and noticed Wifi calling does not work compared to Globe/Smart. Found out DITO, at that time, was not provisioned for VoLTE hence, no wifi calling.
If you're still having the issue after confirming that everything else works fine, I recommend you reach out to Samsung customer support through chat via samsung members app as well on the support tab. 😉
My experience is hindi talaga siya gagana. I have M20 and M12 before both has a wifi calling option. Tried to reach out Smart Customer Service to activate the wifi calling however they cannot activate it with the current model. My cousin A10 before he was able to use wifi calling. Best thing is to call and ask your network provider to activate wifi calling
