Galaxy ANew details surrounding the unannounced Galaxy A22 5G were recently discovered by our colleagues at GalaxyClub, who have confirmed to us that the phone is planned for release in Europe. The Galaxy A22 5G is reportedly an OEM device, which means that it’s being developed, designed, and manufactured under license by a different company, but will be sold by Samsung under the Galaxy brand.
Although pricing details remain unknown, the Galaxy A22 5G should be a cheaper 5G alternative to the Galaxy A32 5G. The latter was released in Europe at the beginning of February for the starting price of €279, so logic dictates that the Galaxy A22 5G will be priced lower and become the company’s most affordable 5G-enabled phone of the year. According to a previous report, the Galaxy A22 5G will be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset.
