It might be a third party app that's causing it.

Hello! Its me again... It doesn't charge anymore even it's in the safe mode. The only way I can charge my phone is by turning it off.

To wipe cache partition:
1. Turn off your phone.
2. Plug in the USB cable via PC or Type-C earphones (in case its USB-C to USB-C).
3. Then press and hold Power and Volume up buttons.
4. Release the power button. When the recovery screen shows up, release the volume up button.
5. Navigate to and select Wipe cache partition (Volume up and down is for highlighting options and power is to select).
6. Navigate to and select Yes.
7. Press the power button to select Reboot system now.

Hello 캍,

We are here to help and understand that it can be frustrating to be in your situation right now.

But do not worry; we are here to give solutions to your problem.

Initially, Samsung charging problems occurred due to many reasons. Some are related to software and some related to hardware. In such cases, follow the steps below to troubleshoot the issues.

Step 1. Go to Settings > Software update.

Step 2. Tap on Download and install.

Step 3. Follow the on-screen instructions.

These are likely the causes as to why your device might not charge, and most can be fixed without any extra support. The most common reasons for a device failing to charge are:

- Faulty cable, charger, socket, or adapter
- Dirt or debris in the charging port
- Third-party apps interrupting the charging
- The software update is required

If still not working, please check other possible reasons below:

- Check your charger.
- Clean the charging port.
