Last year, Samsung announced the Galaxy Quantum, a smartphone with a quantum security chipset. A successor is on the way and its specs along with some images have leaked ahead of its launch later this month.

The source of the leak is the Korean blog, Naver.com and it mentions that the Galaxy Quantum2 will be sold by SK Telecom just like the first-gen model. The phone takes on a new design, one that is similar to what we have seen from Samsung’s current lineup.

The Galaxy Quantum2 has an Infinity-O display with a centered hole punch. It is a flat display with moderately sized bezels. The phone has a metal frame and on the back are three rear cameras. The camera housing has an island-style and it is also home to the flash.

With respect to the specs, the phone has a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Snapdragon 855 Plus and comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Its main rear camera is a 64MP sensor with optical image stabilization but the other camera specifications are unknown.

The Galaxy Quantum2 has a 4500mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging but according to the Twitter user that goes by Tron (@FrontTron), Samsung will ship it with a 15W charger. He also mentions the phone has an IP67 rating, Dolby Atmos speakers, an in-display fingerprint scanner, a MicroSD card slot, and support for Samsung Pay with MST. The phone will be available in Black and White color variants.

Those who pre-order the Galaxy Quantum2 will get a free pair of Galaxy Buds Live and a clear TPU case as pre-order gifts. Pre-order starts on April 13 and the device will launch on April 23. There is no mention of its price tag.
