Before it was the world’s most popular smartphone lineup or brought high-speed connectivity to everyone, there was a vision to make premium technology accessible.

This is Galaxy Rewind, a journey through the lineup that proved flagship features belong to everyone.

2014-2023

The Beginning: Galaxy Alpha & The First A (2014–2015)

In 2014, the slim, metallic Galaxy Alpha paved the way for the original A3 and A5. Under the tagline "Just Speak Up," the A Series established a new standard for mid-range style.


The Era of Attitude and Innovation (2016–2018)

Billed as the "Smartphone with Attitude," the series introduced IP68 water resistance in 2017. 
In 2018, the Galaxy A7 debuted Samsung’s first triple camera, while the A9 made history as the world’s first quad-camera smartphone.

The Great Merger and the Rise of "Awesome" (2019–2020)

In 2019, Samsung merged the J Series into the A Series, launching the A10 through A80. Liza Soberano headlined the "A-Live" launch for the Galaxy A50. Soon after, SB19 and Ben&Ben turned the A71 into the face of a creative generation under the "Awesome is for Everyone" promise.

The Evolution of Content Creation (2021–2023)

As content creation surged, Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano demonstrated how the Galaxy A34 and A54 5G deliver professional-grade results.

Their "Awesome Screen, Awesome Camera" anthem showed a new generation the power of Optical Image Stabilization.

The New Standard: Awesome Intelligence (2024–Present)

The evolution continues with Ashtine Olviga and Andres Muhlach representing the Galaxy A36 and A56.

The focus is now Awesome Intelligence, bringing Circle to Search, AI photo remastering, and Knox Vault to everyone.

My first Galaxy A device was the Galaxy A7 (2018), followed by the A51 in 2020, the A73 5G in 2022, and the A6 (2018) as my present backup phone
