Greenish line appeared on screen

Hi everyone, does anyone know the reason why did a greenish whitish line appear at my A71's phone screen? Yesterday it was fine but it this morning it appeared on the right side of the screen :')

Is there a possibility that this might have been caused by software issues?

Many claims that it happened after a software update. When I search the web and forums, some didn't even run software updates and it just happened. This issue not only happens on Samsung phones but on other brands as well.

Oh I see, is there a need for the screen to be replaced?

No need if the screen still good condition because cost to replace expensive.

A71 screen replacement cost around RM500-RM525. So it's not worth to replace.

It's a vertical line issue, and most likely due to hardware. Colour is produced with a combination of red, green and blue (RGB ) so most likely red and blue is missing, causing a green line.
Screen replacement is inevitable in this case.
