Does Samsung enable HDR in youtube because I don't notice that the phone is really utilizing its brightness when playing HDR videos. I'm aware that the display panel in this phone can output HDR I'm just wondering why Samsung is not enabling it by software update.
Yeah, I'm also wondering why Samsung disable HDR on the A52 series when spec-wise they can support HDR content. In fact, they will attract more buyers if they enable HDR out of the box.
I also think HDR will forever be disabled for our phones 🥲
They can do it in a software update if they want. I'm now considering switching to Apple on my next phone. They don't give the full potential of their phone to their customers.
