Heating issue (A71)

Just this week, the in-call speaker is heating when in call mode or start up. Tested it with diagnostics and everything's normal. What should I do? Please help. Thank you.

Hi Tum27, same issue here and using A71 as well, mine using messenger and google video chat, this has never been resolved in any updates, i guess this is caused by the built in chipset as most samsung device has complained about heating issue. My quick remedy is closing my background apps, clean it and restart, i have to wait again for an hour for another video chat though it gradually changes to moderate heating temp. Hope this may help you 😉

Hello again! Just want to make an update, I did what you said but it's still the same... nothing happened. I'm worried, could that heat make a phone explode or damage it? The duration of calls I make lasts up to 12minutes, the heat is super hot and it's irritating. Wish I/we could find a solution. Again thank you for your concern.

The issue of your device is sounds severe as it persist in heating issue, i would suggest to visit a samsung service center for proper diagnosis, i'm sure they can help you. At least minie it happen occasional only when i use video chat.

Great Samsung morning! The most common way speakers heat up is when you play a loud distorted/overdriven signal through it. ... Once you notice the audio from the speakers distorting, it's a sign that you are overdriving the speakers. And that will cause the speakers to overheat. Hope to have helped you out. Hello Sir! I always set my volume to normal because I'm just at home. I already tried the suggestion given here but I haven't made a call yet, been busy. Maybe later this afternoon I will know if there will be some changes. Thank you.
