Galaxy AHello Monicuuh,
We are glad that you are able to share with us your experience with your beloved Samsung Galaxy phone having issues with the camera's pro-settings that unfortunately you cannot see the results. I feel and understand your frustration for the device you've cared so much. If my device is facing similar experience, I will get worried too.
Before you try out the below recommendations as to your solution, be sure to check if your device's software and related apps, browsers are updated too with the latest version. Please check how to update your mobile device's software in the following order.
Step 1. Go to Settings > Software update.
Step 2. Tap on Download and install.
Step 3. Follow the on-screen instructions.
Step 4. Restart your device.
Pro mode puts the control in your hands so you get the very photo and video you want. Manually adjust settings such as ISO, shutter speed and exposure levels, express your own style with filters, or adjust the white balance settings to accommodate different lighting conditions.
A shutter speed of around 1/125 is usually the sweet spot to get you a bright enough image and without any motion blur. If you're shooting sports or wildlife, you'll want a higher shutter speed such as 1/250 or 1/500 to freeze the action.
Reset the camera app.
If your camera still won't focus, resetting the camera to its default settings may also be a solution. Follow the steps below to reset the camera app.
Step 1. Launch the Camera app, then tap the Settings icon at the top left corner.
Step 2. Swipe to and tap Reset settings.
Step 3. Tap the Reset button to confirm.
Clear the cache of Camera app.
Step 1. Go to settings, then tap Apps.
Step 2. Select the Camera app that you want to clear for.
Step 3. Tap Storage.
Step 4. Tap Clear cache.
Use Device care
If you need some extra help with your phone’s storage, memory, and app usage, you can use Device Care. These features will keep your device from slowing down while improving its overall performance. Device care will scan your apps for crashes, close down background apps, and look for malware with the tap of a button!
If that doesn't solve the issue, you may submit an error report through the Samsung Members app as follows:
Step 1. Launch the Samsung Members app, and then tap the Support icon for more options.
Step 2. Scroll and select Error reports.
Step 3. Choose a category of your concern. Select "Camera".
Step 4. Choose the frequency of the issue you are experiencing. Enter issue details or attach a video or screenshot. Then press Send icons to complete the report.
