While regarding your S10 5G it's probably because of the battery life itself. As battery naturally degrade in time. That's why it's always better to buy a new phone that is recently released than buying a new phone of an older series. Even if it's new the battery already is aging. 😊

your battery is degrading and A8+ is almost 4 years old since it was launched. you need to replace the battery to the nearest samsung center or buy a new phone.

Apparently since the android 12 update rolled out the battery status magically turned to "good"
