When you scroll down the notification bar, dont you see like USB device connected?

yes. I cant see anything connected..

Try connect with other charger, then to PC or laptop, then other OTG device (i.e. mouse, flash drive). If all of it still didn't work, the problem is probably from the port.

okay, then. try test it on PC or laptop, then OTG device. If still didn't work, probably the problem is still on port..

i have the same problem. i recently bought an adapter(tronsmart). it works well on other phones but it's not working on my a50
