When I tried to charge my phone, it detect moisture inside. What's the best thing I could do? Do I need to go to see a tech repair ASAP? 😭

Hello, Ysson!

If your device detects water or moisture in the USB port, charging will be temporarily disabled as a safety measure to prevent damage or corrosion. If you see a water drop icon on your screen, it means moisture has been detected.

Here’s what you can do:

  1. Please turn off your device and let it dry completely in a cool, ventilated area.
  2. Once it’s dry, check if the water drop icon disappears.

If the icon remains or you’re still having trouble charging, you can try what daddYnoRmS suggested by clearing the USB cache on your device. This can often resolve lingering issues. If the problem continues, feel free to ask for further assistance—learn more here.
