New calendar on sleeping lock screen

The past few days theres been a calendar popping up on the black idle screen before the screen wakes up. Doing a single tap will make it pop up, rather than a double tap to wake up the screen. 

Anyone know how to remove it?

Settings > Lockscreen > clock style > Always on display. You can either turn it off or go into clock style and choose which ever you like.

That is your AOD display clock style,

Goto Settings→ Lock Screen→ Always On Display→ Clock style

Choose different clock style or turn off Always On Display.

@GG2 - it is not lock screen clock style. Is AOD clock style.

press down on screen till you get widgets, and select which mode. also from your drop screen, settings. clock style!

Go under clock style. always on display or lock screen. you probably have it on lock screen.
