One drive storage

Anyone know why one drive uses internal storage when it's designed to have extra storage? So ie, move my photos off my phone and onto one drive for space. But yet one drive internal storage increases??

Probably just app cache. Click on it and screenshot what it says

It comes under data not cache

It could be that you made some files available as 'offline'. There's a setting somewhere you can disable this.
