One UI 8.5 For A Series

One ui 8.5 just released for the s25, s24, flip7, fold 7, tab s11, and tab s10, but when is the A series going to get it?

I have an A17, but im sure i dont think we are going to get it until around Late May.

I just want some confirmation

My POV only.
You may have a catch-22 with A17. You see A27 should be released within weeks and will come with 8.5 out of the box. In a way A-27 is the successor of A-17.
So Samsung may hold 8.5 back for A17, for a bit, to boost the A27 sales.
I hope i am wrong.

Going from experience with my previous A15 5G, I received the One UI 7 update in mid-June.

While I don't think that you'll have to wait that long, the Australian release for flagships would probably start in 1-2 weeks from past experience, meaning midrangers would receive the update in mid-late May.

Your A17, being a low-range phone should see the update in late May to early June.

Fingers crossed Samsung will speed up the process🤞
