Just sharing my experience to my phone A20s. Laging open yung backlight ng phone ko either it's already fully off saka yung always open yung backlight nakakadrain talaga ng battery. Dinala ko yung phone ko sa service center (SAMSUNG SERVICE CENTER JAN BC AT SM MEGAMALL BRANCH) last saturday June 13 to fix the problem and get it june 19, but yung problema ng phone ko still there kahit pinalitan na ang lcd, battery and usb port ( I don't know if it's true na pinalitan ba talaga nila ito. ) ang sabi sa akin doon normal lang daw yun, but for me hindi normal iyon.

A20 is an AMOLED display not LCD. AMOLED independently lights pixels individually, while LCD use backlight.

Na check nyo na po ba kung may ibang apps na nagko-cause na laging bukas ang ang phone screen? Like Always On display app?

Nacheck ko naman yung mga app wala naman po na always on ang display. Still nakaon parin yung light background nya. Sa screen ko kahit nakapatay na phone ko or nakalock lang. Ano po kaya magandang step pa po to fix it kung sa AMOLED po ito?

Kung naka power off na sya dapat wala ng light na makikita sa screen kasi kung meron I think that's a reflection of other light sources (light bulb or sunlight) ang nakikita mo.

Have you checked the flash of your phone if it's malfunctioning? I think mas better na bumalik sa service center tapos ipakita mo na may ilaw pa rin kahit naka power off na.

As with your concern, have you checked this for the "Always-On-Display" option from your device settings?

Turn Always On Display on or off

Always On Display is very handy, but maybe you want to save some battery power. No worries, you can turn your AOD on or off whenever you want.

  1. From Settings, search for and select Always On Display.

  2. Tap Always On Display, and then tap the switch to turn it on or off.

  3. From this screen, you can also adjust the AOD's settings. Please see the next section for more details.

Should the problem still persist, try and do a CLEAR DATA CACHE from your device settings, and try to do a FACTORY DATA RESET should the clear data cache not work.

Hope this helps. Be sure to click " ✓ Accept as Solution" when you find an answer that works for you.
