QR code reader

Apparently the QR reader is accessible on the dropdown screen on home page. I can't find it on my A5 phone

The QR scanner may not be available in the QS Tiles on your device? 

It IS available on my S20 Ultra at least. 

But it should be available to you using Samsung Internet App.

Swipe down from Quick Panel → Edit buttons

Could be need to manually add the icon. Just like what RedDogRabbit said.

If you point your camera to a QR code it should recognize the QR code. The drop down menu doesn't serve much function.
