I recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy a01 Verizon prepaid phone. One thing I don't like about it is the weather widget. Not sure if it's just my phone, but I can't figure out how to get the weather widget to automatically always be updated, instead of having to tap the little update symbol every time I want to check the weather. Every other smartphone I've ever had has always had the weather widget always update automatically.
Most weather app's have a setting for the frequency of update. Try finding either 3 vertical dots or a gear in the corner of the main window after tapping into the app. There maybe what you are looking for. If not try installing a different 1
