Hi everyone,

I've been experiencing a strange issue witthe 50MP camera on my new Samsung Galaxy A36 5G and I'm hoping someone here might have some insight or a similar experience.

When I take photos using the 50MP lens (not in regular auto mode), I sometimes get random black spots appearing in the pictures. It's not consistent; sometimes a photo is fine, and other times these spots show up in different locations. It's really frustrating because the high-resolution mode is one of the reasons I got this phone!

I've already tried:

  • Cleaning the lens with a microfiber cloth.
  • Restarting my phone.
  • Clearing the camera app's cache.

You can see examples of what I'm talking about in the images below:

Has anyone else encountered this on their Galaxy A36 5G or another Samsung device? Any suggestions or fixes would be greatly appreciated before I consider taking it to a service center.

Thanks for your help!

I have the same issue with my Galaxy A22 4G, it only appears if you don't have consistent lighting or the subject is moving, but it doesn't appear on my full 48MP mode it only appears on Auto or Photo Mode as HDR processing kicks in leaving the subject in motion with blacks, nangyayari lang din yan pag mas brighter yung background leading to contrast issues
