Recent used apps not displaying

Hello Community!  Can anyone pls help how to resolve the recent used apps on the lower portion of the screen?  It used to display apps I recently exit now it only displays the apps shown on the picture.  😭 thanks in advance :)

Anyways, have you already tried to reset the settings of your device? If not, you may try to do that first by going to Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset Settings

Hello Sam! Thanks for ur reply… if reset , it wont delete my files right? Esp the pictures? Which of the reset is applicable? 1 2 or 3?

😭😭😭 the icons just remains the same wven after reset…. It just the same… how to fix this please 😭😭😭
