Galaxy A
For me, the Samsung A56 is an excellent choice because it offers a slightly larger screen and a new chipset compared to the Samsung A55, although the price is higher (RM1899 for 256 GB). The battery size is similar (5000 mAh), but the A56 supports 45W fast wired charging compared to the A55 (25W). The A56 gets Awesome Intelligence (AI-powered features) such as Circle to Search, Object Eraser, My Filter, and Edit Suggestion, compared to the A55, which has none (only Circle to Search).
As for updates, the A56 gets up to six years of major Android OS and security updates, while the A55 gets four years of major Android OS and five years of security updates. Both phones support Samsung Wallet, so you can use it for contactless payments and get points in return.
But if you are on a budget, you can pick the Samsung A55 instead.

Galaxy AA55 has microSD card slot, A55 also has eSIM. But only has 3 more OS support up to Android 18
A56 doesn't have microSD card slot, A56 also has eSIM with support up to Android 21
you decide which one do you need?
