Samsung firmware verification

Does Samsung provide firmware verification for the all the firmware that should be the latest on a specific phone.

Example as of Feb 26,2021

Kernel version, build number.

Don't think that Samsung provides any firmware verification for their phones. 

You can look at a few other places to see what is supposed to be running on your phone though. 

Sammobile is one resource, Frija & SamFirm are others.

Samsung should be the only authority for phone firmware. This would also provide comfort to owners to be able to confidently know what is available as of a specific date for their phone.

Well, be that as it may, Samsung isn't the only authority for Samsung's firmware.

There's plenty of other respected & trusted sources.

Common! you have a choice of getting firmware from the manufacturer or a third party you would consider a third party? At best a third party provider would only give firmware information after Samsung either developed or approved.

It's Samsung's own Firmware & you can Flash it with Samsung's own Tool, Odin. It's absolutely NOT 3rd party anything!

It would fail verification if it was anything else & would fail to flash.

Clearly you have no idea or experience with Samsung firmware.
