Samsung should consider placing physical switche for the microphone and camera covers for the lenses. 

The switches will ensure the microphone is not operational when not required. The camera lens shutter will also prevent camera usage when not requested and protect the lens.

Never going to happen. Samsung is removing hardware, not adding. Besides the more physical "switches" you add, the more difficult it is to maintain the ip68 rating.

Tin Foil hats are pretty much free though..

They added notifications on the screen when the microphone or camera are in use

Unfortunately that is software based. Physical barriers ensures no operation.

I get the whole privacy thing, if course no one wants to take unnecessary risks, but..

Some people, sound particularly concerned about keeping what they are up to, very private..

Isn't that the kind of thing that intelligence agencies are curious about, people with an extremely heightened concern of being monitored..

Isn't that the kind of thing that CSIS might want to look into?
