The new Samsung Music update won't allow me to edit music details as it only allows access to media and not 'files and media' in the settings anymore. It says 'file not supported' which is weird cus its an mp3 file.

Hi Azif1, could you try to uninstall and reinstall the app and get back to us with the results?

In each song, there is a 3 dots at the back. You can click on 3 dots → Track detail and allow edit. Are you talking about this?Screenshot_20210919-085652_Media Storage.jpg

  • I am also having this same issue. If I try to clock the pencil to edit, it tells me "Can't edit details for this track. File type not supported." I have been able to update in the past before the update. I do not get a screen or anything that says to allow edit.
