Its not a big deal but it annoys me. I have a samsung a50s. And recently after a software update. My phones started acting weird. Not taking fingerprints well, and have a short moment of a gray screen before the phone turns on and off. Instead of showing pitch black, its displaying an ugly dark gray. How do i fix this.

Step 2. Plug in the USB cable via PC or Type-C earphones (in case its USB-C to USB-C).

Step 3. Then press and hold Power and Volume up buttons.

Step 4. Release the power button. When the recovery screen shows up, release the volume up button.

Step 5. Navigate to and select Wipe cache partition (Volume up and down is for highlighting options and power is to select).

So pushing your agenda.  Everything samsung offers makes it worse.  I hope other countries take you to court like France did over this bad business practice.  # boycottsamsung

I know this thread is 4 months old after the last reply, but Samsung, you really messed up. You ruined my phone after the last update. I panicked because of yesterday, came to find out it wasn't because of not updating that I was having connection issues to the phone towers, but I already updated the OS and firmware. I hated the gallery app after the update not allowing me to disable video autoplay. What makes you Samsung think that you know better than your customers huh? Your updates are garbage, you're forcing users to tolerate your garbage to use their phones, and with this where you're not allowing us to remove the battery or stop an accidental update? Who the h*ck do you think you are Samsung? Thanks a lot for breaking my phone and the applications. Now it's just a paperweight and I have to get a new phone because of you, the one I had now barely works at all. Stop forcing updates on people, and stop fighting so hard against the consumer's right to repair.

Its called planned obsolescence and this piece of trash company follows this practice, whilst at the same time saying they care so much about sustainability. They have trash people running things. They are equivalent to human *** matter.
