1- First step:
First of all, we are going to check that we have the screen recording icon in the quick access panel of our Samsung Galaxy A12. (If we already have it, we can go to point 5).
To check it, we unlock our Galaxy A12 and slide a finger from the top edge of the screen down a few centimeters to display the quick panel in which the quick settings will appear such as connecting to a Wi-Fi network, connecting Bluetooth, mute, airplane mode, etc. Slide down again with one finger to display the full panel, check if it has the screen recording icon shown below:
2- Second step:
If we do not see the screen recording icon on the quick panel of our Samsung Galaxy A12 click on the edit icon of the quick panel that is normally three points vertically.
3- Third step:
A floating menu will be displayed, click on “Button order” to edit the buttons that appear on the quick panel of your Samsung Galaxy A12.
4- Fourth step:
The icons of the settings that we have already defined in the Samsung Galaxy A12 quick panel will appear below and the settings icons that we can add to the panel separated by a blank space, we look for the screen recording icon, click on the icon and without drop it, drag it to the bottom to add it to the quick panel. If you do not see the screen recording icon on your Galaxy A12 device, it may be disabled by the manufacturer or not available on Samsung Galaxy A12, in which case we go to the point “If we do not have the option to record screen natively”.
5- Fifth step:
We already have the screen recording icon on the Samsung Galaxy A12 quick panel, now to start recording we have two options: simultaneously press the volume up and power buttons of the Galaxy A12 or a simpler and less likely to fail which is to unfold the panel fast by sliding a finger from the top of the screen and pressing the screen recording icon that we have seen in the previous steps.
6- Sixth step:
If this is the first time we have recorded the Samsung Galaxy A12 screen, a message will appear requesting permission for the screen recording application to take photos and record videos. You can choose if you want it to only have permission this time or every time the app is used, if you deny permission you will not be able to record the screen.
7- Seventh step:
The second permission it will ask for is to allow the "Samsung Capture" app to access the microphone and record audio. You must allow the permission even if you do not want to record the sound of the microphone, in a later step we can indicate that the sound is not recorded.
8- Eighth step:
Next, it will ask us for permission to access the photos, multimedia content and files of the Samsung Galaxy A12, this does not mean that the application is going to use the photos or videos but that it needs this permission to be able to save the video in the device's storage.
9- Ninth step:
In this step you can choose if you want the video to be saved without sound, with system sounds or with system sounds and recording the microphone sound. Select the option that interests you and click on "Start recording".
10- Tenth step
A 3-second countdown will be displayed on the Samsung Galaxy A12 screen from which the video of everything that happens on the screen will begin to record.
11- Eighth step:
To stop the recording you can press the square stop button that appears at the top right of the screen or slide your finger from the top of the screen to open the notification and quick settings bar and press the red button to stop recording of screen.
12- Ninth step:
The video will be automatically saved in the photo gallery of your Samsung Galaxy A12. You can find the image gallery on the home screen, it should have a photo icon, an instant photo or depending on the version of the software installed, it is possible that your image gallery application is Google Photos, in this case look for the icon of a four-pointed star made of paper with four colors, one for each point.
