Screen turns on

I am having an issue when on a call. My screen turns on while I'm on the phone and my ear presses different buttons. How do I fix this so it doesn't?

I have the galaxy A20

Yup.... annoying... and will never buy another "Edge" phone for the same reason... all the unwanted screen-hijacks!

Its is the sensor ..... just wondering I am thinking you have a screen protector on??? if I am right its interfering with the sensor...

yes I do. when I got the phone the sales guy put it on. I'll take it off and see if that works. Ty

I prefer a screen protector on for those just in case issues...
If by taking it off solves your issue then I would suggest looking into another screen protector to keep you and your phone happy...

if you take it off, just note that you won't be able to put it back on ... or at least it won't stick properly

FYI... Its not a good thing to go without a screen protector so I would look into some decent one where this issue isn't present..
