Screen won't show or open when there is incoming calls

Whenever there is an incoming call, the screen stays off but it still rings and vibrate. Im using samsung a55 recently bought

Have you tried to do a wipe cache partition on your phone yet? I've attached a copy of how to do it. The only additional new thing you have to do is plug your phone to a PC or laptop before doing the steps.

If that doesn't work, consider doing a reset of your phone. Go to settings->general management->tap on reset.

This will reset your phone to factory settings.
