You can try to reset your network.

Settings>General Management>Reset>Reset Network.

Attempt to enter your pin first then there should be a forgot pin option then you have to sign in to your samsung account. 20230612_112035_1000003275_1686540037.jpg

Hello ChubbilitangJUJU,

Thanks for reaching out to us in order to find out about resetting PIN for your Secure Folder which you've forgot.

I hope you may find below steps helpful in addition to our dear Samsung members' replies.

Before you try out the below recommendations as to your solution, be sure to check if your device's software are updated with the latest version. Please check how to update your mobile device's software in the following order.

Step 1. Go to Settings > Software update.

Step 2. Tap on Download and install

Step 3. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Secure Folder protects your private content, such as photos, notes and apps, from being accessed by others. It houses your private information in a separate secure area, even when your device is unlocked. You can also use multiple accounts on a single device by creating a copy of the app to be housed in a Secure Folder, If you would like to learn how to set up Secure Folder please check out our guide Using Secure Folder on my Samsung Device for more information.

Reset Passcode using 'Forgot Pattern'

1. Launch Secure Folder and incorrectly enter the passcode. Forgot pattern will appear at the bottom of the screen.

2. Tap on Forgot pattern > Reset. You will be redirected to sign into your Samsung Account.

3. Once you have signed in you will then be able to set a new PIN, pattern or password and finally log back into Secure Folder.

Please Note: The Reset with Samsung Account setting MUST be enabled prior to following the above steps.

Changing the Passcode via Secure Folder settings.

1. Launch your Secure Folder and enter in your lock type.

2. Tap on the 3 dots and select Settings

3. Select Lock type then re-enter your current Secure Folder PIN, Pattern or Password.

4. Once you have entered your lock type you can then change your Secure Folder Passcode.

Sign out of your Samsung Account and Uninstall Secure Folder.

1. Head into your Settings and select your Samsung Account

2. Proceed to sign out of your Samsung Account

3. Relaunch Secure Folder then tap on Uninstall

4. Once the Secure Folder has been uninstalled you can then sign back into your Samsung Account and setup the Secure Folder again.

Important Notice regarding Secure Folder

Secure Folder is an independent, secured space isolated from any other form of access. Users may not access, copy or transmit data stored in the Secure Folder, including through USB and Wi-Fi Direct, except by using authorized methods such as ‘Move out of Secure Folder.

If rooting or a custom ROM is detected, the secure folder will be automatically locked to prevent unauthorized access and you may no longer access or use the applications and data inside the ‘Secure Folder’. This helps to protect the copy of the data on the mobile device against unauthorized access but could be inconvenient if it is your only copy. Therefore, please back up important data on other storage media, such as your personal computer before you proceed with moving files into Secure Folder.
