Should I update or not

Im a A50 user, my phone is still good but I have android v. 9 UI 1.1 and Im starting to have this problem on keyboard touch  ( that keyboard keys part on the edge can't be touched) I need to turn off the phone just to try again. 

And now new updates for Android 10, I've been reading a lot about the charging issues and stuff. 

Should I update mine?

normally update have security patches and bug fixes. since no system is perfect weigh which will be more beneficial for you. battery issue is something isolated not all device have issue.

I already updated my phone with the latest version (May 27), and I was right there are problems I encountered
1. unexpected glitches an hour after the update
2. duplicate system app which I cant uninstall and deactivated
3. external apps that got duplicated so I opted to uninstall (which result to losing the two same apps and losing the data) Im practicing digital arts and some are not saved so I lost it. 😢
3. unexpected shutdown
4. Im still observing for 24hrs.
