I'm having the same issue, took my phone in to get checked and all they could tell me is to wait for new software update

Hi Brenda37,

That definitely sounds frustrating—let’s try to get your phone stable again. Here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot:

1. Restart in Safe Mode

  • This disables third-party apps temporarily.

  • Press and hold the Power button, then tap and hold Power off > select Safe Mode.

  • Use your phone for a while—if it doesn’t shut down, a third-party app may be the culprit.

2. Clear System Cache

  • Go to Settings > Battery and device care > Storage.

  • Tap Clean now to clear cached data.

  • Alternatively, boot into Recovery Mode and select Wipe Cache Partition (no data loss).

3. Check for App Updates

  • Open Galaxy Store and Google Play Store.

  • Update all apps—some may not be optimized for the latest system version.

4. Battery Health Check

  • Go to Samsung Members app > Support > Phone diagnostics.

  • Run a battery test to check for irregularities.

  • If none of these help, I recommend visiting a Samsung service center, Our service technician will thoroughly examine the device to identify the issue and proceed with the necessary repairs to resolve it.
