Samsung A53 does not support the Weight Watchers App. I have done everything tech had told me to do and now they say I have to report it to the developers who keep sending me back to support. Anyone else with thus ussue

I don't use the app, but:

Open the Play Store & go to the Weight Watchers app  > Click on "About This App" & Scroll down to the very bottom.

You'll see whether or not it is compatible with your device. I can't imagine that it wouldn't be, unless there's a Sensor needed by the app, which isn't available on your device.

You can try Uninstalling & Reinstalling the app.

Try the following:

  • Go to Settings > Apps search for the Play Store & Click on it >Scroll down to Storage & Clear BOTH Cache & Data for the Play Store & Reboot.
  • Try again.

If I understand you correctly, you have not been able to install the Weight Watchers app, but if you have been able to, repeat the above steps for the Weight Watchers app.

Samsung's Chat support, unfortunately is not always accurate with their answers.

It is installed I Dan open it after the install then when I go **bleep** in it kicks me out. I get notifications from the app bur can not open it after the initial install and sign in. I have had x2 techs try to get it to work but fir some reason our phones do to like the app. I tried on my husband's phone, same as mine and same issue. Thanks

If you have Weight Watchers installed, please try this:

Go to Settings > Apps & Search for Weight Watchers & Click on it >Then Scroll down to "Storage" & Clear BOTH Cache & Data for the Weight Watchers app & Reboot.

It SHOULD work. 🤞🏻

Instructions on how to Wipe Cache from Recovery:

Press & HOLD the Power & Volume UP buttons until you feel the phone VIBRATE & Release BOTH buttons at the same time.

Wait a couple of seconds until you see the Recovery Menu.

Use the Volume button to scroll down to "Wipe Cache" & Select it with the Power Button.
