Well i got it to 33% working

For reasons unknown, no longer can a Pie user tap on the dialer and get the dialer every time. If you use one of the other tabs and basically do not exit on the dialer, you don't get the dialer next time. With the annoying never used, constant nag screen Places gone, i've managed to raise my dialer "probability of actually getting a dialer because i tapped a phone icon" to 33%. Now, since i already have a contacts app it could actually be FIFTY PERCENT!
Wow. Who needs Oreo and a dialer that always opened as such? Now, Pie is a casino! Gonna need a footlong phone for Q to hold the new bloated quick settings panel. Any bets?

I know what you mean, you will always have to press keypad to bring up the dialer, unless you exit the app with the dialer set. I know in Oreo there was a defualt option to always bring up the keypad but it has now been removed.

Hopefully it can be brought back, maybe create a new post as a suggestion.

I am sure it will. Going to post a link for the A8 users that upgraded to Pie but got snubbed on the cool ringtones and notifications. I took them out of the F model and injected into my system folder. But for those that can't, or the ones that don't want to go to sammobile for a full fresh copy, i'll make a post where they can download some new stuff, because they're cool!
