WhatsApp blur photos

The camera works fine. It captures clear shots from my A50s... But when I send it in WhatsApp the photos become very pixelated. It is eery obvious u can see the pixels and its unhelpful especially wen I want to send slides notes to my friends. My friend has an A50 but he has no issues with sending me fine shots in WhatsApp. I wonder how to solve it? Could it be a software issue?

Notice how pixelated the shot is.... 

Anyone face the same issue?

It's not compression but rather reducing the size in order to save data, faster data transfer, and of course to reduce total space.

Good news is, it's not just for Samsung phones. Everybody whose using whatsapp regardless phone models are having the same issue. Maybe you don't notice it earlier due to the picture itself, which maybe has less highlight and details.

Good point. Well I experimented with my photos... If I cropped it smaller it was not as compressed and the details were smoother

I also experience the same problem with my A50. When i post a photo on my status for the 1st time, it usually retains the quality.

The problem comes when its the second upload time while the photo has been in the phone for a while. In the gallery, it remains of the right quality. 

I really hate this😒😏
