Hello Rolf26,

Thanks for your inquiry here.

WiFi calling consumes very little power, so it doesn't drain your battery. However, it consumes energy if left unused. WiFi uses less power than cellular data.

It drains a similar power like audio calling on messenger.

Hello, I've been using Wi-Fi calling ever since this feature has been available because my mobile network's signal is weak inside our house. It doesn't consume that much battery when not in use, but still contributes to draining. Wala naman masyado effect sa battery life ko, barely noticeable pero I have a lot of notifications turned off especially for social media apps so that helps.

This. My older relatives prefer to call me rather than text because texting for them is such a hassle, and for someone residing in a place that could otherwise be called a dead zone, that feature is a lifesaver. Kahit saang sulok ng bahay mo basta may wifi signal, matatawagan ka nila. And if their handsets have it activated too, all the more better. I set it up once on their devices and walang tech know how needed na from them.
