WORK PROFILE

hi, 

this is my first Samsung phone (possibly my last), and I was quickly shocked when I discovered that when I tried to add my school email, which is typically a simple task, I was forced to add a work profile.

not only is this new profile extremely inconvenient as I have to essentially duplicate all of my data , but it also wastes a lot of storage. furthermore, I don't like being forced to use a useless feature, and im contemplating returning my phone altogether.

so is there a way I can add my school email without adding a work profile? thanks 

(my phone is the Samsung a13 5G Canada version 64 GB, android 12, 4.1)

There is no work profile when adding email. Unless your phone is a work phone, which is control by school or company.

Hi, yes suggested by Tallman there is no work profile when your'e adding an email.

Can you please tell us where did you purchase the phone?
