I was using my Samsung book 2 360 when my screen turned off. At that moment I still had about 80% battery left.

Also my keyboard light is off.

I have the impression that my status led is purple (though that colour is not mentioned in the manual).

Tried to force shutdown by holding the power button but that does nothing (I assume that samsung laptops are like other laptops I know where holding the power button forces a shutdown).

Atm the laptop is charging my tablet as I hope draining the battery will eventually shutdown the laptop.

Am I missing something?

Try shutting it down again but hold the power button for longer.

Holded down the power button for 1 minute now, still no reboot.

When you plug in the charger does it show the led light to indicate that it's charging

Leave the charger in until the led inacator is green then try holding the power button.

Hi, if the notebook doesn't turn ON even after the battery is drained out completely and doesn't respond to power button even after you charge the notebook, we suggest you to contact live chat support by the given link.

Draining and then full charge solved the problem.

I hope it is a one time experience  😁
