I couldn't afford to replace the tires on those cars. I imagine a brake job would even make Elon Musk blush with carbon fiber rotors and multipiston calipers.

I had a car with ceramic brakes but sold it before it needed a brake job. Not worth selling a kidney for discs and pads 😆

Ceramic are not a big deal like carbon fiber. Ceramics have excellent wear property's and zero noise and dust.
Carbon fiber are short lived bit have a brutal life of abuse that woukd destroy a normal brake system in minutes
