HIBISCUS
I've been playing around with some old images that I wasn't willing to turf into the rubbish bin (have been culling the gallery on my phone; it feels good to do that occasionally).
The background in the original was a bit messy, so I went into Lumii app (available free from Google Play Store. It is very similar to what Photoshop can do) and did a few things.
Firstly I removed the background, then replaced that with what you see here, blurred it to soften it. Secondly added a vintage texture at reduced strength. Editing consisted of only adding Contrast and some Clarity. Thirdly added the border, whose colour was chosen with the colour picker from the image itself and styled as a gradient (you can see the colour change from top left to bottom right). Finally added the text.
I'm not sure it's a success. I feel the extras kinda overpower the flower which is the subject after all. Anyway, I had fun.
