Kind of scare standing outside to take the shot. Sorry about the rain drops 😝

Add 1 more shot. Although is captured from video, but is still beautiful.

@Tallman
Thanks for sharing!
The first is a perfect connection 🤙👍
The second looks like a handlebar moustache 🙃
Wish you would have posted a video so I could count the seconds from flash to crash, I think it's like every 5 seconds is a mile 🤷

Lastnight, the lightning happened every 1 to 2 minutes. But getting the lightning that went down and show in the air, once in 5 to 10 minutes. Been standing in front of Windows more than 30 minutes. Because you have no idea where the lightning come from? North? East? West?...etc. You need to face 1 direction and keep trying for video it. Need a little luck. But if the thunder moved to far side, you can easier to capture due to wide angle will capture whole area and easy to get the lightning if it happens. But the feeling of the lightning will be different. You won't feel the lightning power. If it is close enough, you can feel the power of the nature.

I lower the F value when video the lightning. Because lightning was so bright, and also can increase the contrast view. 2nd picture is way more better than the 1st picture.
