Simple comparison of full moon shots comparing photos in:

(1) standard Photo mode with Scene Optimizer enabled which auto performs multi-image averaging to lower "noise" and enhance detail.
Mar 23 7:23 am ISO-50 1/180s x71 zoom
(2) Pro mode with full manual settings, focus sharpest at 6.2 with the maximum x20 zoom available, and the same image zoomed in (cropped) to show similar aspect as (1) pict.
Mar 23 7:28 am ISO-64 1/180s x20 zoom
The Pro mode shot zoomed in has more noise (grain) which presumably the Photo mode + multi-image stacking in Scene Enhancer effectively removes but the level of detail is comparable with some contrast sharpening in the Photo/AI mode.

Thanks, that's really interesting, I didn't understand before why people kept saying the moon shots are fake. So I now understand that it's AI software-based enhancing the actual moon for all the details when in auto if the scene optimizer is on but the 100X ZOOM gets you close. But in PRO MODE it's still just as brilliant in @mitchg photo but the color is different and some details and you can't get as close. I'm still curious as to why the color is so different though 🤔
